Event Navigation
Berkshire Ferments presents the 3nd Annual Berkshire Fermentation Festival on Sunday, Sept. 17th from 10-4pm at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds. The Berkshire Fermentation Festival is day long celebration of the diversity of all things fermented and crafted. Each year there is an array of local cultured food vendors sampling and selling their products along with demos, lectures, a culture swap, science corner, book signings, live music, and more.
Berkshire Ferments is a collective of fermentation enthusiasts dedicated to preserving ancient traditions and building a resilient culture. Our aim is to inspire our communities by educating and celebrating the broad world of fermented foods. We organize potlucks, workshops, gatherings, documentary screenings, and the Annual Berkshire Fermentation Festival.
